St. Clare of Assisi Seniors Ministry Statement of Purpose
Our Mission
The St. Clare Senior Ministry is dedicated to enhancing the lives of senior adults by providing meaningful and interactive spiritual, social, educational, and inter-generational experiences that allow seniors to thrive and grow in union with God.
Our Beliefs
1.Seniors have many gifts, talents, and life experiences to offer our parish. 2.Seniors are vital members of our parish family. 3.Seniors provide new perspectives, wisdom, and purpose to all areas of parish life to foster community and growth in the parish. 4.Spiritual renewal is essential to life fulfillment. 5.We believe that in a fast-paced and changing society, older adults need opportunities to continue the life-long process of learning and growing.
Our Goals
1.Provide meaningful social gatherings of food and fun. 2.Encourage spiritual growth. 3.Broaden intellectual horizons. 4.Provide individuals the opportunity to be involved in parish ministries. 5.Provide all seniors of St. Clare Parish opportunities to share experiences, learn new skills, and gather useful resources to support their life journeys.
