You’re the key to Oktoberfest success! With just 27 days remaining until St. Clare’s big Oktoberfest fundraiser, it’s time for every parish household to join in support of this important effort. Our Oktoberfest leaders have worked behind the scenes for months and have done a great job of getting things organized for the event. Now it’s up to all of us to step up and pitch in! It’s easy for you to sign up to volunteer and donate items either online or after Mass. Since we need volunteers to fill about 400 one- or two hour time slots, we are hoping that most of you will offer to help AND be there before or after your shift to enjoy the great celebration.

These ministries are currently short-staffed… READ MORE
Gratitude and Financial Transparency Below is the end of the fiscal year (7/1/22 - 6/30/23) financial report from our Business Manager and Finance Council. Thanks to your generous donations and our staff keeping their expenses down, we ended with a small positive balance. If you have questions or want more details on this balance sheet, feel free to contact Business Manager Toni Stanton at the parish office...READ MORE
Two Great Women Lead Us to Jesus… I love how the school year starts off the same week that we celebrate two great women of faith – Holy Mother Mary and St. Clare of Assisi. These two women have so much to teach all of us…as we are all ‘students’ of Jesus’ Gospel. This weekend, we celebrate our patroness, Holy Mother Clare, whose actual feast day is August 11, but we honor her today as our guiding light to Christ....READ MORE
The Blessing of Serving God and Others…I consider it such a blessing and graced privilege to be a priest and serve our diocese and parish. Presiding at Mass “in persona Christi” and leading everyone in worship and praise of God is the most fulfilling life I could ever imagine. I try and explain this to our young men as they discern God’s Will for their life. Part of what makes our liturgy at St. Clare so prayerful is having so many of our parishioners involved in some way before, during, or after Mass. It takes over 100 people each weekend to cover all of the ministries needed for a prayerful experience. I want to thank all of you who ...READ MORE
