Tyrone Sanford Memorial Scholarship
St. Clare Parish is accepting applications for the Tyrone Sanford Memorial Scholarship for Catholic high school education. To honor the memory of her late brother, former St. Clare Parish School of Religion Confirmation catechist Simone Wheeler is funding the scholarship for a student who will attend a Catholic high school in the year after his or her Confirmation. The total amount of $500 for one year will be awarded for the fall semester to a student who best meets the application requirements. The determination of the award will be based on applications from the students and their efforts in preparing for Confirmation. The amount awarded will be sent directly to the students’ school to be used for his/her tuition or books.
Scholarship requirements:- St. Clare parishioner
- Completed all St. Clare Parish requirements for Confirmation
- Will be confirmed this year
- Will attend a Catholic high school in the coming school year
- Must complete application--CLICK HERE FOR APPLICATION
Applications are due by April 12.
