Four Candidates to Be Received into the Full Communion of the Catholic Church This Sunday, at the 8:30am Mass, we are receiving 4 candidates (already baptized) into the Full Communion of the Catholic Church through the Sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist. Brittany Wicinski, Sarah Surrey, Josh Flint, and Matthew Lands have been preparing to become Catholic through participation in the parish, discussions on Catholic beliefs and practices, prayer, and worship. It is especially appropriate for them to become Catholic on the Solemnity of Corpus Christi, as we celebrate and give thanks for the great gift of the Eucharist, which both nourishes us and draws us into union with God while also uniting us more fully to one another as members of the Body of Christ here on earth and equipping us to be Jesus' presence to all those we meet and interact with in the world. Their sponsors are Lori Turkington (Brittany), Kelly Wulf (Sarah), Tiffany Flint (Josh), and Rachel Layfield (Matthew). Please pray for Brittany, Sarah, Josh, and Matthew as well as all of those going through the process of becoming Catholic here at St. Clare, throughout our diocese, and around the world.
