Welcome Bishop McGovern!

Please join us Monday night for Mass and to pray for our young people as they receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. Bishop McGovern will be here for this special night and I encourage all parishioners to come and witness the outpouring of the Spirit upon our youth. Even if you do not have one of your own family members receiving the sacrament that night, it is an opportunity to come and pray for ALL young people – your other teenagers, young adults, or family members needing the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

It is also an opportunity to meet our bishop if you have not had the opportunity to do so yet since he has only been our bishop for two years but has done so many great things for our diocese already.

Speaking of our diocese, I want to extend a big THANK YOU to all of you who have stepped up and turned in your donation to our diocesan appeal (Catholic Service and Ministry Appeal). We are so close to reaching our goal…so for those who have not yet returned their card/payment, please use the envelopes available on the center table in the Gathering Space. When you see our bishop, be sure and thank him for all the great things he is doing for our diocese.

I want to thank each of you who are to me a true witness of the Holy Spirit’s love, peace, and joy.
