Holy Week 2021
This year, we are so fortunate to be able to celebrate these sacred days together. Like almost everything else in our lives, still, there will be modifications this year to how we gather and celebrate these liturgies.
Let’s start with signups… Simply put, ticketing for the Christmas Masses did not go as planned. We ended up having a significantly smaller crowd than capacity at each Mass due to cancellations, illness, and people who didn’t show up. Ultimately, this made it unfair for those who wanted to be there, but couldn’t get a ticket.
So here’s the plan for
Holy Week…
• We will have a Signup Genius for each liturgy: Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter Vigil and two Easter Sunday Masses.
• All liturgies will be livestreamed, but, as you know, that simply isn’t the same as being there in person. • Each Sign up Genius page will have enough slots for seating in the church and overflow in the fellowship hall, where the livestream will be broadcast on the three TVs.
• Seating will be on a first come, first served basis on the day of the liturgy.
• That means, when the church seating has filled up, we will start seating in the fellowship hall. For example: even if you are the first person to sign up on the Signup Genius, but person #275 to arrive, you will be seated in the fellowship hall. Arrive early!!
• After the fellowship hall and church are at capacity, we will have to start turning people away. Hopefully this doesn’t happen!
We hope you will make it a priority to attend these sacred liturgies with your family. They are the holiest, most meaningful days for Christians. To sign up
