Gratitude for Your Support
It takes a lot to run a parish family – primarily, faith-filled, loving, generous people. Your extra support is needed as we face a small shortfall at the end of our fiscal year on June 30. You can see what we need and why in the message and summary report below from Toni Stanton, our part-time business manager. I am so grateful to her for donating many extra hours to keep us running smoothly. This report is our Operating Budget of weekly expenses for our parish family, which is separate from our Capital Development (mortgage payment).
Thank you,
Fr. Jim Deiters
Message from our Business Manager:
I would like to thank all of you who are so generous with your tithe that keeps the parish operating and allows the parish to offer so many great programs. Below is the current statement of parish receipts and expenses as of May 31, 2023. As you can see, the expenses are coming in higher than receipts. The staff does a great job of remaining within their budget for ministries; however, since inflation has affected us all, we have had unusual increases in areas such as maintenance, insurance, and utilities. And with a growing, young parish, our school subsidy has also increased a lot this year. We are so grateful that our contributions have increased well compared to previous years. Thanks for helping us meet this small ‘shortfall’ by increasing your tithing.
Sincerely,
Toni Stanton
