Welcome New Members!

We are so blessed to have new people joining our parish each week. We also have many visitors joining us every weekend, some from out of town and some ‘checking us out’ as a possible new home. Thanks to all of you who go out of your way to introduce yourself to someone you have not yet met as we practice Gospel hospitality. Each new person blesses us with their talents, personality, and faith.

PILGRIMAGE ++
I will be away July18-28, doing some volunteer work for Dynamic Catholic, leading a group of 80 people from around the country on a pilgrimage to Oberammergau, Germany, for the famous “Live Passion Play.” This village in southern Germany puts on a live re-enactment of Jesus’ life. About every three years, I help out my friend, Matthew Kelly, by leading one of the pilgrimages for the evangelization work at Dynamic Catholic. I also enjoy leading groups from our own parish of St. Clare on pilgrimages every few years, possibly a trip to the Holy Land or Assisi with parishioners in 2023?

While I am away next weekend, we are honored to have Bishop McGovern here for the two Sunday Masses and Fr. Mark Dean, OMI, (King’s House) for the Saturday night Mass. Thanks for your hospitable welcome for them.
