“Lord, Give Success to the Work of Our Hands...” (Psalm 89)

Oktoberfest Report 2022

All of the good things that we accomplish are signs of the Holy Spirit alive in our midst. The many hands, hearts, and minds of our parishioners who made our recent Oktoberfest so successful are something for which we give thanks. I am so pleased to announce, on behalf of our whole Ofest team, that our profits are estimated to be $82,612.23!!

This is the largest amount we have ever made in the 22 years since the first Oktoberfest. Amazing! It makes me think of how each and everyone of you had some small or big part in making this happen: from the team who increased our sponsorships, to those who chopped celery and cabbage, to those who baked a cake or spent hours working in a booth, and so many more… YOU helped and I am so grateful.

These wonderful profits go directly toward our monthly mortgage payment on the church building. This means the money contributes to our parish prayer life, our ministries, and our outreach to those in need — all done through our beautiful building. May the Lord truly “give success to the work of our hands.”
