Quiet...continues on Cross Street Two years ago we began Eucharistic Adoration on Tuesday nights from 6—7:00 p.m. and praise God, we still continue this beautiful quiet prayer time known as “Quiet on Cross Street”.
If you are looking for a way to “disconnect” for an hour a week, in order to “connect” with God, or if you are new to our parish and have not yet attended this weekly Adoration, please consider joining us. It is never too late to start carving out time on your Tuesday nights for this powerful time of silence letting God gaze into your heart through the presence of the Eucharist.
I would especially want to encourage those for whom sitting still and being quiet is a new idea. Just bring who you are, and where you are to God and let the Holy Spirit help you quiet your mind, surrender your worries and take you to the place deep inside of you where God dwells. Mark your calendar: every Tuesday from 6—7 p.m. or just stop by for 15—30 minutes for a trial session.
“Be still and know that I am God.” Psalm 46
