Holy Family...Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, pray for us.

This feast of the Holy Family gives us the opportunity to reflect on our own family life and where we most need the intercessory help of Mary, Joseph, and Jesus in our relationships.

For me, this feast day makes me think about how grateful I am for each of you as my own parish family. For me as a priest, our parish family enriches my life greatly and helps me grow closer to Jesus. When I see you trusting in God through your own family/life challenges, it deepens my own faith. And when I see you faithfully here at Mass each weekend, committed to the Holy Eucharist, it gives me great hope for the future of our Catholic Church.

I also want to thank many of you who sent me cards and gifts for Christmas. Your thoughtfulness is truly appreciated and reminds me of why I call you, my family. Thank you.

I am asking Mother Mary to hold close to her each woman and girl in our parish…

I am asking Saint Joseph to stay close and guide each young man and father in our parish…

And I pray that Jesus will touch your heart in a new way this Christmas Season with God’s Love, Joy, Hope, and Peace.
